Chris Cornell & Billie Jean

I guess the song's been floating around for a while now, but I was just made hip to the Chris Cornell cover of 'Billie Jean' this past week. And since the first listen, I've been sold on it. It's rhythm and blues at its best. Cornell takes me back to his Soundgarden days, and for the first time (much like Laswell's cover of Lauper), I paid attention to the lyrics, which brought the song alive for me. It's beautifully done, and it's going to be on the upcoming Cornell album in June. So check out this live, acoustic rendition - I'm trying to get a hold of the one he did with a full band, and when I find it, it's yours, I promise.
